The weak, the strong and the likelihood: experimental evidence from Slavic scalar particles
Original language description
We present experimental evidence concerning scalar particles and NPIs in Czech and Slovene. Experiments tested formally logical properties of particles, namely the monotonicity of the environment in which particles occur, and their acceptability with respect to the likelihood scale. The experimental results show that the ambiguous approach to *even* (according to Rooth) cannot be applied (at least in the case of Czech and Slovene scalar particles).
