How to find (the pieces of) Tense
Original language description
This talk argues that research on the syntax and semantics of tense & aspect in verbs & participles has not payed enough attention to the empirical detail of how tense/aspect is realised, ie the morphology of tense/aspect on verbs and participles. I illustrate this through a discussion of French and Italian verbs.
