Putting parts of numerals together
Original language description
We investigate two kinds of numerals -- abstract counting and object counting. In some cases, object counting numerals are derived from abstract counting numerals by adding affixes -- prefixes or suffixes. We adopt spellout-driven movement as a mechanism that governs these orders, and compare this approach to the one suggested in Cinque (2005).
