Whether in linguistics or literature, doctoral students face many challenges in their research. One of the first challenges doctoral students face from the beginning of their study is the question of choosing methodology. However, this question is as specific as the research of each doctoral student. Nevertheless, common methodological problems can be found in both linguistics and literature and overcoming them is essential to doctoral study. The aim of this Doctoral Research Day in Linguistics and Literature is to bring together postgraduate students and present their methodological obstacles to inspire each other to overcome these problems. The event is also aimed at PhD students without their contributions and professors who are experts not only in this field.
