Aim of this paper is on a case law explain how mandatory rules affect delivery of goods according to Art. 35 CISG. The main question is whether the seller in order to meet his obligation to deliver goods according to the contract has to comply with the public law requirements of his sellers country or the public law of the buyers country. On the presented cases is possible to study a changing view on this question.
