European Customs Law
Original language description
The legal regulation of customs law in the EU has undergone significant changes as a result of the adoption of the Modernised Customs Code and related regulations. The past five years have thus been demanding not only for new member states but also for the older member states (although not so much). However, it remains true that the changes in the amount of activities carried out by customs bodies have gradually led to considerations of further orientation of customs administration, both organizationally and functionally. The chapter focuses both on the EU customs law and Czech legal regulation of customs.
