Original language description
In 2006 after long lasting contradictory discussions, the new legal regulation of bankruptcy law the Insolvency Act No. 182/2006 Coll. was passed by the Czech Parliament. It became effective as of January 1, 2008. Even thought the new regulation of bankruptcy law was comprehensive in the same way as regulations contained in codes, a new discussion rose right after its passage. This discussion reflected in a number of amendments. Thus, despite the fact that the Insolvency Act has been effective for onlyabout one year, it has been amended and supplemented several times. We will ponder over some of the important amendatory and supplementary acts in the text below.
