Interpretation and Application of the EU Law by the Czech Courts
Original language description
In this article some important decision of Czech highest courts are being analyzed. The article is focused mostly on decisions of the Czech Constitutional Court concerning the supremacy principle. The aim of the paper is to highlight both weak and interesting points of the Czech judicial practice from the viewpoint of the EU, especially those, where the EC law was applied incorrectly. This article shows that the Czech Constitutional Court does not fully acknowledges the absolute primacy of the EC law even over Czech constitutional order.
