Information Systems of Tax Administration in the Czech Republic
Original language description
The goal of this paper will be to analyze the current situation in Tax Administration's Information Systems in the Czech Republic as a part of current Czech e-government. This area has growing importance in the tax administration as the numbers of data stored and processed electronically grow continually. I will focus on current legal regulation and on systems currently run by the Czech ministries - Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Interior. Customs Offices' information systems that are closely connected to European Union information systems of customs and new legal changes that will be effective from year 2009 (e.g. electronic data boxes for official delivery in all types of procedure) will also be included.
