Original language description
The goal of this paper is to describe the current implementation of SEPA payments to the Czech legal system and to the Czech application practice. The paper will focus on this area especially from the perspective of financial market regulation after theeconomic crisis. SEPA payments date back to 2002 but their implementation to the European Union law and to the Czech law is a long-term and gradual process. The paper will also mention the connection between SEPA payments and payment systems in general.The methods used will be the analysis of particular SEPA payments instruments, descriptive method for discussion on this area and synthesis for creating conclusions. Another used method will be the comparison between the European Union regulation and theCzech implementation of SEPA payments.
