The aim of this article is to summarize the basic research problems regarding electronic finance (eFinance) which are being researched at the Department of Financial Law and Economy at the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic). Theseproblems include the area of financial services provided or concluded on the financial market using the electronic instruments, electronic services regarding payment services and payment system and also the finance having the electronic basis (as the monetary legal relations authoritatively regulated by the state through the financial law regulation and regulation by other legal areas).
