Septimus was from 2000 to 2004 an international project funded by the Leonardo da Vinci program of European Commission. The aim of the project was to design a new type of psychotherapy training, combining traditional and e-learning methods, with the potential to strengthen European psychotherapy through innovative methods and unification of standards. Being hosted by the University of Sheffield (UK), the psychotherapy training was available through 16 European training organizations in 8 European countries. A partner who closely cooperated with the team at University of Sheffield represented each country participating in the project. On the national level, training organizations designated a coordinator/tutor, who was responsible for recruiting students, for providing the tutorial and for making an assessment. Jde o referát na konferenci pořádané světovou Společností pro výzkum psychoterapie v Montrealu v červnu 2005. Příspěvek shrnuje naše zkušenosti s e-learningovým výcvikovým prostředím a tutorialem ve virtuálních seminárních místnostech (v letech 2002 až 2004) v rámci evropského projektu podpory psychoterapeutického vzdělávání s využitím internetu.
