Original language description
An enduring, central, and most distinctive feature of the Greek Communist movement is its dual character: since the partys split in 1968, a pro-Soviet orthodox Communist party has co-existed and competed with a reformist one. After the collapse of communism in 1991, the party splinted again in two parties: the traditional one communist party of Greece and the renovator Coalition of the Left and Progress. Despite the widespread beliefs that the orthodox would not survive the concurrence the evolution ofthe two parties shows the opposite.

Czech description
Trvalým, ústředním a nejtypičtějším rysem řeckého komunistického hnutí je jeho duální charakter: od rozdělení strany v roce 1968 vedle sebe koexistovaly a vzájemně mezi sebou soutěžily pro-sovětská "ortodoxní" a "reformistická" komunistická strana. Po pádu komunismu v roce 1991 se opět zformovaly dvě strany, tradiční komunistická strana Řecka a Koalice levice a pokroku a existují vedle sebe.
