AUTONOMOUS WEAPON SYSTEMS
Original language description
This article presents basic mechanisms, and using principles of autonomous weapon systems in future war operations. Decrease of eligible human forces, lack of support from civilian society form pressure to implement mixed robotic/human units. Main limitations of their use are keeping them under control, and to invest sufficient supply to hold them strength enough. Herein, there are mentioned just several features divided at tactical, operational, and strategic level as well, that will be influenced by autonomous weapon systems implementation into our or allied armed forces. Furthermore, these weapon systems induce more sophisticated operations and remaining soldiers, and their commanders will have to acquire technical skills and be familiar with differences to be battle winners. Future wars will not be so demanding for human resources, but for any material usable for creation new robotic weapon units. It will create new training drills, doctrines, and even new sources of strategic importance.
