Teaching quantitative research using GGS at Masaryk University : Experiences and plans
Original language description
The presentation will introduce the use of the Generations and Gender Survey data for teaching at Masaryk University. The GGS data are utilized in both introductory courses on quantitative methodology to introduce students to survey data, and in more advanced courses teaching specific data analysis methods such as event history analysis. The presentation will also show how students use GGS data in their diploma theses. Last, future plans to include GGS in teaching and training data analysis at Masaryk University will be discussed.
