    Solid phase extraction of phenol and 15 chlorophenols from river water has been studied. Octadecylsilanized silica gel and Amberlite XAD-2 were examined as SPE sorbents and the effects of elution solvents, cetyltrimethylammonium chloride concentration, sample pH and volume were investigated.
