High bromide intake in the rat dam affects transfer of both iodide and bromide
Original language description
Impacts of very high bromide intake in the lactating rat dams on the development of their young were investigated. Bromide ions, similarly to iodide easily penetrated into mother's milk and via milk were transferred to the sucklings. However, in comparison with the transfer of iodide, the rate of bromide transfer was much slower.
