Differences in the susceptibility of Lasallia pustulata and Umbilicaria antarctica to high light stress
Original language description
High light is an important environmental stress, and plants possess several photoprotective mechanisms, e.g. formation of zeaxanthin to cope with this condition. Here we report on investigations into the mechanisms employed by two lichen species, which are routinely exposed to such a stress.
