Original language description
Fossil (Miocene, most probably Badenian) shark tooth with traces of human activity is described from the Pavlov I locality (Gravettian). The traces indicate that it has been used by the Pavlovians probably as a cutting tool. Besides, even bioerosion traces are visible on its surface, their origin being connected with the interactions between the tooth and the roots of higher plants.

Czech description
Z lokality Pavlov I (gravettien) je popsán nález zubu fosilního žraloka (miocenního, nejspíše badenského stáří) se stopami lidské činosti. Tyto stopy svědčí o tom, že zub byl zřejmě používán jako řezný nástroj. Na povrchu zubu byly dále zjištěny stopy bioeroze, které vznikly účinky kořenů vyšších rostlin.
