Toxicity of photomodified polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon fluoranthene for lichens
Original language description
The aim of this work was to evaluate the effect of intact and photomodified form of fluoranthene (FLT, phFLT; 0.1, 1 and 5 mg/L) on primary processes of photosynthesis in lichens. Chlorophyll fluorescence parameters (F0, FV/FM and PhiII) were determinedafter 24, 48 and 72 hours of exposure. Results demonstrated that FLT and especially phFLT in concentration of 1 and 5 mg/L affected negatively the primary photochemical processes of photosynthesis in algae in both selected lichen species.
