Kondenzace vody jako jedna z příčin koroze speleotém v jeskyních Moravského krasu

  • Original language description

Based on a systematic monitoring, water condensation was proved in three selected caves of the Moravian Karst. It is presumed that this water is capable to corrode speleothems. Condensation was found (1) in both visited and unvisited caves, (2) near thecave entrances/exits, (3) in deep cave passages, and (4) at the sites with/without corrosion. The latter phenomenon is probably connected with (1) an intensive rinse the condensation water by supersaturated dripwater (e.g., the Anděl speleothem, PunkevníCaves) and (2) different period of interaction (the Balcarka Cave). Both condensation and speleothem corrosion was found to dominate in the Amatérská Cave. Any simple relation between condensation and air temperature/relative humidity in cave/outer atmosphere was not found. Detail mechanisms and possible anthropogenic impact are studied.
