Perennial ruderal vegetation of the Czech Republic: a new vegetation survey

A high number of vegetation units of perennial ruderal vegetation have been distinguished in the traditional phytosociological system of the Czech Republic (Moravec et al. 1995, Red list of plant communities of the Czech Republic and their endangerment).Due to inconsistent delimitation of these units, which often differed among various authors, the revision of the recent classification system was done. A large data set of relevés was extracted from the Czech National Phytosociological Database and geographically stratified. The procedure of formalized reproduction of an expert-based vegetation classification was applied. By means of the Cocktail method, sociological species groups were defined. Consequently, formal definitions were created using thesesociological species groups and also using a dominance of species. Czech description

V tradičním fytocenologickém přehledu České republiky (Moravec et al. 1995) bylo doposud rozlišováno velké množství jednotek ruderální vegetace. Jejich vymezení je však často nejasné a bez podrobnějšího popisu. Některé vegetační jednotky se svým druhovýmobsahem překrývají, jiné jsou jen slabě floristicky diferencované nebo nejsou z našeho území dostatečně fytocenologicky dokumentovány. Pro syntaxonomickou revizi byl použit rozsáhlý soubor snímků z České národní fytocenologické databáze, který byl geograficky stratifikován. S pomocí metody Cocktail byly vytvořeny sociologické druhové skupiny a následně byly definovány formální definice asociací tradičně řazených do tříd Artemisietea a Agropyretea. Pro monografii Vegetace České republiky byla přijata třída Artemisietea zahrnující čtyři svazy (Onopordion acanthii, Dauco-Melilotion, Convolvulo-Agropyrion a Arction lappae). Ve srovnání s dosavadním vegetačním přehledem bylo rozlišeno 17 asociací (místo 25 asociací).
