Příspěvek k poznání depozičního prostředí sedimentů spodního badenu na lokalitě Oslavany

  • Original language description

Lower Badenian deposits in the locality Oslavany are interpreted as product of deposition in foreshore and shoreface (clastic coast of the sea). Five lithofacies (Sl, Sr, Ss, Sp, and M) were recognised. Sands and sandstones contain impoverished Lower Badenian fauna accompanying with reworked fauna of Ottnangian Rzehakian Beds. Microfauna of clay intraclasts indicate Lower Badenian assemblage of Lower Lagenid zone. Depositional environment of studied deposits is significantly different from the environment supposed for typical Lower Badenian basal clastics in the broader surroundings.
