AV CMi - binary star with surprise
Original language description
AV CMi is an eclipsing binary star, of Algol type, with eccentric orbit. Surprising discovery of brightness variability outside of eclipses indicates presence of a third body in the system. Subsequent photometric observations helped to find more realistic description of the system behavior.
