The article aims on topic of spatial information cognition. Evolution of cognition is described and evaluated. The adaptive function of cognition is discussed in context of ecological psychology. The current approaches to cognition problems are introduced and the basic terms and concepts are explained. Ratio of cultural influence is confronted with influence of personality traits and developmental stage of individual. Results are used for optimization of spatial data usage in interregional and global scale.
