Different approaches to drought capture ? how do aquatic invertebrates indicate dry episode in Central European streams?
Original language description
Global climate change brings a new phenomenona to Central Europe - drying up (interruption of surface flow) of small brooks and rivers (up to the 4th Strahler?s order). The project?s ?Drying up of streams during climate change? (acronym BIODROUGHT) maingoals: retrospective indication of dry episode based on the analysis of taxonomic and functional composition of benthic macroinvertebrate communities maps of vulnerability to drying up of small streams and rivers. This poster presents the preliminary results of the reaction of EPT (Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, Trichoptera) taxa to drying up of streams.
