    *Influents were systematically positive in (i) all WWTPs for (ii) all measured ED potentials during (iii) all samplings - dioxin-like effects (usually above 0.5 ng dioxin TEQ/L), high estrogenicity (ranging 13-50 ng estradiol equivalents EEQ/L), androgenicity (maxima 300 ng dehydrotestosteron equivalents DHTeq/L during sampling P) and antiandrogenicity (usually around 200 ng flutamide equivalentsFLUeq/L). The exception was antiestrogenicity which was negative in all influents as well as effluents.
