Concerning the occurrence of bow shocks around high-mass X-ray binaries
Original language description
Using the data from the space missions operating in the infrared and the astrometry from the Gaia satellite, we investigated the occurence of bow shocks around high-mass X-ray binaries. A number of circumstellar nebulae were found, however, genuine bow shocks were found to be rare, most likely due to low kinematical age of this class of objects - compared to the other types of runaway stars.
