Phonon Anomalies in the Far-Infrared c-Axis Conductivity of Underdoped YBa2Cu30y as evidence for the intra-bilayer Josephson effect
Original language description
We show that the most striking of the phonon anomalies observed in the far-infrared c-axis conductivity of underdoped YBa2Cu3Oy can be naturally and probably uniquely explained within a model based on the assumption that even the closely spaced copper-oxygen planes of this compound are only weakly (Josephson) coupled along the c-direction.
