Morphological Analysis of Tajik - Notes and Preliminary Results

  • Original language description

In this article we describe state of art of morphological analysis of Tajik language. At first we comment retrieval of prefixes and postfixes. Then we introduce an algorithm for semi-automatic morphological analysis of one-root Tajik words. The algorithmworks with a database of roots, prefixes and suffixes and in the case a new root or a new affix is found the algorithm adds it into the database on the basis of manual analysis.
