TIL as Hyperintensional Logic for Natural Language Analysis
Original language description
In the paper, we introduce the main ideas of a new scientific project devoted to new methods of computer-aided linguistic and logical analysis of natural language, in particular English and Czech. The presented project started in 2015 and its main aims lead to the research of the Transparent Intensional Logic (TIL) as a framework for analysis of natural language communication and reasoning. The project follows up the previous successful cooperation between the teams involved and builds new findings on both developed linguistic and logical resources and tools as well as new methods of analysis regarding phenomena such as individual attitudes, dynamic discourse, or tenses and events.
