Original language description
Based on the analysis of five texts of authentic face-to-face private conversation, the article investigates how spatial and temporal adverbials contribute to the expression of the spatio-temporal setting. In accordance with some previous research, fourmain criteria, 1/ grammatical function, 2/ semantic role, 3/ realization type, and 4/ position in the clause structure, have been applied to the present analysis.
