In the last few years, the approach to evaluating the physical fitness (hereafter PF) in children and youth has been changing. Due to this change, there has also come a need of change in test batteries. In one section of the partial research project of Physical Education Dept. of PdF MU, which forms part of the research project School and Health for 21 Century, we deal with the monitoring of health-related fitness in primary school children by means of test batteries.

Během posledních let se mění přístup k hodnocení tělesné zdatnosti (dále jen TZ) u dětí a mládeže. Díky této změně dochází také k potřebě změny v testových bateriích. V jedné z částí dílčího výzkumného záměru Katedry tělesné výchovy Pedagogické fakulty MU, který je součástí výzkumného záměru Škola a Zdraví pro 21. století, se zabývá monitorováním zdravotně orientované zdatnosti žáků na 1. stupni ZŠ, které je prováděno pomocí testové baterie.
