This paper is the output of research in regional development in the Czech republic with the view of using Local agenda 21 in development of choice cities in Czech republic. This paper tell about Sustainable development and his process in environmental world. The basic document of sustainable development is Agenda 21. This document was revealed at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (Earth Summit), held in Rio de Janeiro on June 14, 1992, where 179 governments voted to adopt theprogramme. Agenda 21 is a blueprint on how to make development socially, economically and environmentally sustainable in the 21st century. In this article I would like to show you the most important principles in prosess of implementation programme Agenda 21 in common life.
