This paper presents the goals of the study field and project Special Art Education at the Department of Art at Masaryk University in Brno. It assesses individual results of educational practice conducted among selected groups of clients. If focuses not merely on the results of the art activities impemented, but first and foremost on their process, which may have an influence on the mental and social well-being of those involved.
