A comparative study is focused on the analysis of the concept of J. A. Komenský and J. I. Felbiger. As a part of the research based on comparative analysis we came to the conclusion that the concept of empathetic teacher and active listening in schools has already been used in the seventeenth century. So Komenský overtook Person Centred Education of C. R. Rogers in twentieth century based on humanistic psychology. Rogers came up with a facilitated teacher who leads to the development of pupil´s potential through empathy.
