Original language description
This article deals with the place of language corpora in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) pedagogy. It describes an intended PhD research project on presenting and writing skills, based on specific courses at Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The paper summarizes the aims of the research, the methodology and the planned outcomes of the project. A part of the research is a teaching component which focuses on language corpora input that could help the students with creating their presentations on various technical topics in English.
