Tematizacija na zatvorenoto prostranstvo v groteskovite piesi na pražkija teatar „Činoherní klub“
Original language description
The study deals with the dramatic output of The Drama Club (Činoherní klub), a renowned theatre scene, which celebrated its 55th anniversary in 2020. The present study interprets works created during the 1960s by the theatre’s fundamental authors, starting with the first staging of Piknik (premierе on 27th 1965), a play by Ladislav Smoček, and ending with the slapstick by Alena Vostrá, On the Knifeʼs Edge (premierе on 4th 1968). The study is focused primarily on the theme of enclosed space, which related to the ensemble’s ambition to show some of the paradoxes in human behaviour under tense conditions of escalated model situations.
