In the paper the author analyses representation of women in combat sports at modern Olympic Games. He deals with the history of integration of women's disciplines and compares them with men's disciplines. Representation of women is outlined in the context of the development of international sport organisations. In the conclusion possible future development of women's combat sport is discussed.
