Hand morphology influenced by laterality in man volleyball players

  • Original language description

In this work we follow the effects of playing volleyball on the morphological changes on palm and lateral variations in them influenced by laterality. We studied morphometric, functional and volume parameters on samples of age categories of volleyball players, students, cadets and seniors, compared to three groups of non-volleyballists. Results did not show an increase of palm morphological asymmetry caused by volleyball, so we can not even talk about positions depending, whether the time playing impact.
