    Education of HEMS crew members: The use of e-learning

  • Original language description

    A main goal of this article is introduction of an idea of creating new e-learning course for HEMS crew members. High-quality education programmes for HEMS crew members (doctors and paramedics) with an emphasis on clarity, creativity, the visual aspects,time flexibility and innovation, are the main goals of creating the new e-learning course. The course features alternating years of regular classroom-based training session, complemented by e-learning based instruction. The e-learning elements - which enhance the understanding of complex issues - of videos, 2D animations, photographs with captions etc. are already in use today to improve classroom-based education. All of this and more is done with the sole aim of improving safety.
