Walk characteristics of Czech women
Original language description
This cross-sectional study compares gait vertical ground reaction force and time characteristics of women aged over 30. Sixty women were divided into three groups according to their age (A 30 ? 39, B 40 ? 49, C 50 - 60). For research were used capacitivepressure insoles in the shoe. There laboratory survey was made and three stances of each leg were assessed. Six parameters had been chosen for monitoring, three vertical ground reaction force and three time parameters. F1 - force peak during loading response, F2 ?lowest force during decline between both peaks, F3 - force peak during terminal stance, time of stance (t), tpr - time of propulsive stage of stance (TSt, PSw), tab - time of absorption stage of stance (LR, MSt). Percentage of body weight (%BW) was used. Statistics: ANOVA. A tendency of gradual decrease in the size of ground reaction in mBW has been observed in dependence on increasing age in F1, F2 and F3. Significant differences were found between groups A and C for F1 in mB
