Socio-culturally different Motor skills of Czech children with ASD aged 7-10 years assessed by the Test TGMD–3
Original language description
Conference contribution, presenting partial results of a study that dealt with motor skills in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The results are focused on the socio-culturally different movement elements of the motor test that was created in the USA. The so-called "novelty effect" has also been described in this population of children with ASD. Performing culturally non-traditional movement exercises - especially two-handed strikes - had a significantly positive motivational effect on participants with ASD.
