Original language description

It has been verified that Poisson distribution with parameters depending on soil and stocking rate covariates can be used for modelling the number of plants of considered species. The generalized linear model was used for the evaluation of influence of large herbivores on the number of plants of considered species. Results are presented graphically and in tables. The model works well and it highlighted the importance of which herbivore species are present and their relative stocking rates as well as theimportance of the stocking rate of all animals present in determining the numbers of plants a woody plant species is present in.

Statistická analýza vybraných rostlinných druhů savanových lesů v Zimbabwe založená na zobecněném lineárním modelu.

Czech description

Bylo ověřeno, že počet rostlin v práci uvažovaných rostlinných druhů na farmách v Zimbabwe má Poissonovo rozdělení s parametry, které závisí na charekteristikách půdy. Této skutečnosti pak bylo využito k vytvoření zobecněného lineárního modelu, kterým jedobře popsána závislost počtu jednotlivých rostlin v závislosti na počtu a druhu chovaných velkých býložravců. Byl odhadnut počet rostlin uvažovaných druhů na dané lokalitě v závislosti na počtu chovaných býložravců a typu půdy. Statisticky byl posouzenvliv faremního chovu dobytka na výskyt jednolivých rostlin uvažovaných druhů. Výsledky jsou presentovány tabulkami a graficky.
