The natural disasters are becoming a bigger and bigger problem in the Czech Republic than how it was in the past, this is a fact. The role of NGOs in managing of these disasters in increasing, this is also the fact. This article is about the part of theresearch about economical and financial aspects of natural disasters, which is focused on the role of NGOs in the Czech Republic in this area. The purpose of this article is to find out a present state of following areas, and offer a solution for improving the current situation: Ways of cooperation between municipalities and NGOs, problems of this cooperation. Involvement of NGOs in the crisis plans. Participation of NGO in the crisis stuffs. Cooperation NGOs among themselves in the area of disaster management. Role of volunteering in disaster management. The Czech labour code and volunteering in case of disaster management, is it necessary to do some changes in that? Optimal way of financing NGO in case of disasters.
