Original language description
The Czech Republic?s subsidy policy towards non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is centrally coordinated by the government to support selected legal forms: foundations, endowment funds, public benefit corporations, church organisation and civic associations. The relationship between the state and NGOs in the Czech Republic takes the form of a conceptual framework set to create an appropriate environment for the existence and work of NGOs and for the forms of financial and in-kind support to NGOs. Cooperation between NGOs and public administrations and support provided to NGOs from public budgets takes place at the regional level as well. At the regional level, as at the national level, the relationship is usually conceptually grounded.
