Original language description
This paper presents Multilingual Website mluvtecesky.net which is currently available in nine language versions: Czech, Arabic, Chinese, English, German, Polish, Romanian, Slovak and Spanish. The portal offers a general Czech online course consisting of 30 units (levels A1 and A2) and a detailed course of medical Czech, which has been reviewed by medical experts. This innovative language course contains 37 units and is divided into three modules: Internal Propedeutics, Internal Medicine and Further Clinical Departments. Completely new interactive materials are accompanied by more than seven hours of audio recordings, a useful dictionary, grammar summary, discussion forum and invaluable information about the Czech Republic (culture, history, geography). The website has been developed particularly for those who need Czech for their professional life in the healthcare sector. Nevertheless it has become an integral part of Czech for medical students from abroad at Masaryk University. The portal is user-friendly and free of charge.
