    The Aleš Hřebeský Memorial is the most prestigious box-lacrosse event in Europe. The tournament has been held in Radotín, Czech Republic since 1994, to honor local lacrosse player who tragically died in 1993. In 2001, the tournament hosted internationalparticipants for the first time. Since then, the number of the competitors has been growing. A once ""local"" event, became a ""global"" event also thanks to the media interest and on-line broadcasting. Radotín has become a crossroad - not just of specific histories related to the heritage of the former so called Western and Eastern Blocks, but also of individual life stories. The film is also about glocalization. It reflects the specific history of lacrosse in the former Czechoslovakia. Compared to other European countries, lacrosse had been shaped in Czechoslovakia by local notions about the Native Americans and their ""game"". It led to the formation of a specific form of lacrosse, called Czech lacrosse. From this form of the game, t
