Documentary (68 min.) was created by combining two field recording documentary films. These recordings depict the two most important rites of passage - baptism and funeral. The funeral was filmed in the Czech Republic, the baptism in the Slovak Republic. Ethnographic documentary film shows the authentic course of rituals and their individual stages. Allows us an insight into the spiritual world in which the Roma are still maintained instead of secular majority society, in which are the old traditions quicly disappearing. The documentary film shows besides church services also ethnic and cultural context of traditions in which play an important role Roma songs too.
