The conference was organised by the Department of English and American Studies (Faculty of Arts and Philosophy, University of Pardubice). Due to the Covid pandemic, the conference was held online. Scholars and students from Czech and foreign universities met virtually via MS Teams to present and share their research findings. In two main panels - Literature and Cultural Studies; Language Teaching/Learning and Linguistics - the participants analysed and discussed a wide range of topics, including place and space in literature; issues related to drama, poetry, fiction, or popular culture; various aspects of learner discourse, EFL teaching, or conversation analysis.
